Community Engagement in Philadelphia

About Jon

A resident of Philadelphia, Jon Nadler recognizes the importance of being an active contributor in one’s community. For Jon, this feat has been accomplished through his extensive work as a lawyer. He possesses expertise in the realms of arbitration, mediation, litigation in federal and state courts, defense for claims of employee discrimination, defense for unfair labor practice charges, internal investigations, and collective bargaining agreements.

Jon Nadler first felt inspired to become a lawyer as he completed his Bachelor’s degree in economics and history at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Without missing a beat, Jon began his journey through law school at the University of Virginia, from which he received his Juris Doctorate in 1997. Throughout his career, he has strived to make information surrounding hot-button topics like retaliation claims, workplace issues, hiring, discipline, drug-testing, and computer and internet usage all the more accessible. As such, Jon has taken a combined approach of giving speeches and offering one-on-one employer counseling on the above issues.

Alongside his work in consulting, Jon Nadler has also been featured in a number of articles published by the likes of Bloomberg, Human Resource Executive, Law360, and Forbes. Through these outlets, Jon has been able to share his insights on industry trends and current events alike. Most notably, Jon released a detailed analysis of both outcomes of the 2012 election through Forbes, in which he explained how each result would directly impact employers and the business landscape as a whole.

While his professional achievements are certainly noteworthy, what truly sets Jon Nadler apart is how much time he dedicates to representing others outside of his typical work hours. For instance, Jon served as the Philadelphia chapter president of the Labor and Employment Relations Association (LERA) from 2008 to 2009, during which time he helped others encourage research in all aspects of the field of labor, employment, and the workplace. Jon helped organize and lead discussions at the organization’s monthly meetings, which averaged a total of 150 attendees.

Furthermore, Jon Nadler has given speeches on and distributed materials related to various labor-related issues, including his opinions and insights regarding social media, employee handbooks, and updates to National Labor Relations Board regulations.
